Where are the designated guest parking areas?

Stalls 1

  • Located at the front entrance.
  • This stall is reserved for large vehicles for moves, deliveries, etc., or EMS. 

Stalls 2-7

  • It is located within the front entrance on the Mauka end of the driveway.

Stalls 28-36

  • It is located in the ground floor parking structure.

Stalls 8-10

  • It is located in the loading zone, adjacent to the dumpsters.
  • These stalls are designated as Contractor Parking.
  • Stalls are available as guest parking after 5:00 pm, Sundays, and Holidays.

 

How can I get an overnight parking pass for my guest(s)?

Overnight parking passes are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Residents may contact security at (808) 343-3525 or the office to claim parking passes. Please note that residents must sign for their parking pass in person.

Residents may reserve parking passes but are limited to

  • Three consecutive nights
  • Six parking passes a month.

Overnight guests may park in any available guest stall.

These passes are valid until noon the following day (unless reserved for consecutive nights).

 

Can I rent a parking stall in the garage?

Stalls are to be rented to AWPS residents only.

The stall owner rents out the stalls. The owner determines the prices, stall locations, and agreements.

Please let the General Manager know if you want to rent out your stall. An announcement will be included in the GM Weekly Report at the end of the week. By doing so, this allows a fair chance for all potential renters.

How can I gain access to the bike cages for my bike?

Send an email to awpsmgr@gmail.com or awpsofficeaa@gmail.com with the following information

  1. Name
  2. Unit Number
  3. Picture of the Bike
  4. Desired Bike Cage for Storage
    • 3rd Upper
    • 3rd Lower
    • 4th Upper
    • 4th Lower

Once approved, management will provide a code for access.

How do I make an elevator reservation?

Residents may contact the office for service elevator reservations.

  • 8:00 am-5:00 pm Monday-Saturday
  • Reservations are not allowed on Sundays and Holidays

How do I schedule a bulky item pick-up?
  1. Visit https://www.honolulu.gov/opala and fill out the information.
    • Include your unit number when entering your address.
    • Make sure each item is accounted for.
    • Look at the pick-up dates available. Do not schedule an appointment yet.
  2. Check with the office (808) 955-7707 for elevator availability.
  3. Coordinate with the office and the opala.org website for bulky item pick-up.
    • You will make the elevator reservation the day before the bulky item pick-up date.
  4. The day before pick-up, place bulky items(s) on the curb in front of the dumpsters near the loading zone.
When are Quiet Hours?

9:00pm to 8:00am daily.

When is construction permitted in the building?

8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Saturday

No work is allowed outside of these times, Sundays, or Holidays, except for emergency repairs.

Quiet work, such as painting, is allowed at any time.

Does AWPS allow pets?

Yes, we allow cats, caged birds, and fish.

There is a limit of two animals per apartment.

Fish are an exception, but aquariums may be no larger than or hold more water than 15 gallons.

What is the process to register my service animal?

Any owner or tenant requiring an assistance animal (a dog or other animal not permitted at AWPS) must submit their request for formal review to and approval by the Association’s Board.

This request includes…

  1. A letter from the disabled person’s treating health care professional, mental health professional, or social worker verifying the disability and that the animal is needed to alleviate one or more symptoms of the person’s disability.
    • No verification is required if both the disability and the need for animal are obvious.
  2. A photograph of the animal and it’s name.

Requests may be submitted as a hard copy or via email to the General Manager awpsmgr@gmail.com, which will then be presented to the board for approval.

Who is our cable & internet provider and what services do they provide?

Spectrum provides a Platinum Package, which includes

  • 3 Set-Top Boxes
  • Platinum Television
  • SHOWTIME
  • Internet of 500 Mbps

This cable and internet plan is included in the maintenance fees.

Residents can upgrade their package through Spectrum for an additional cost, which is charged to the account holder.

What kind of pool do we have at AWPS?

Here at AWPS, we have a Salt Chlorinated Pool.

Our salt chlorine generator converts sodium chloride NaCl (also known as table salt) into chlorine. The generator electrically charges the salt water which splits the salt molecules and generates chlorine Cl.

When is the pool open?

Pool hours are 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
